Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kilimanjaro

Our representatives will warmly meet you on arrival at the Kilimanjaro International airport; transfer you to your city hotel where they will brief you on your safari arrangements. Enjoy overnight at the hotel where you are booked on bed and breakfast. Arusha Serena Hotel, Resort & Spa or Similar

Arusha Serena Hotel, Resort &Spa

Nestled at the foot of the wooded slopes of Mount Meru, this unique hotel stands amid coffee plantations on the shores of tranquil Lake Duluti. Designed to echo the traditional style of the colonial coffee farm, which originally stood on this site, the hotel offers a range of tastefully presented cottage-styled rooms set amid extensive landscaped grounds.

Standing at the gateway to the famous Tanzanian ‘Northern Safari Circuit’, the hotel features a stone-built reception with adjoining lounge, library, restaurant, boutique and business Center. Imposing in stature and spacious in concept, the design of the new building echoes the hotel’s original incarnation as a working coffee farm dating back to colonial times.

Day 2: Arusha – Northern Serengeti (Serengeti National Park)

After breakfast you will meet your driver guide who will take you to Arusha airport for morning flight to North Serengeti. In North Serengeti you will meet your safari guide and proceed to the Camp for lunch, followed by afternoon game drive. All meals and overnight at Katikati Mara Tented Camp or Similar

Day 3: North Serengeti

After breakfast, depart with packed lunches for a Full day game drive in North Serengeti, all meals and overnight at Katikati Mara Tented Camp or Similar

Mara Katikati Mobile Camp

Mara Katikati is a mobile camp strategically situated in north Serengeti, ideal for exploring the extensive Serengeti plains. The camp offers comfortable accommodation together with the unique opportunity to enjoy a real safari experience on a camp. In its comfortable tents one will feel completely immersed in the surroundings and one can enjoy the rich animal life and vegetation of the area.

An original form of accommodation which resembles the old camps of the first explorers in Africa, with all the commodities of today.

Day 4: North Serengeti

Another full day game drive in North Serengeti, all meals and overnight at Katikati Mara Tented Camp or similar

Day 5: Central Serengeti

After breakfast have a game drive on your way to Central Serengeti, enjoy your packed lunch on the way. All meals and overnight at Kiota Camp or Similar

Kiota Camp

Perched on a hilltop, Kiota Camp offers a Birdseye view of the Seronera River Valley’s abundance. Birds play have an important part in Kiota’s design and atmosphere. Hand-painted lilac-breasted rollers decorate the bed covers and every side table holds an ornithology reference and a pair of binoculars. The Seronera airstrip is only twenty minutes away, and many of the most famous landscape features and game concentrations can be almost immediately accessed.

Day 6: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro

After breakfast have a morning game drive on your way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stop at Olduvai George one of the most important anthropological sites in the world, have your packed lunch in the site then proceed to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight or Similar

Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge

The Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is built onto the rim of this amazing natural phenomenon, a stunning plant and local creeper covered stone lodge where guests co-exist in perfect harmony with the surrounding natural environment and wildlife.

Day 7: Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast, descend to the floor of the crater for game viewing drives. Often described as the ‘Eighth’ wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro crater is so spectacular, a natural sanctuary for over 25,000 animals, including the black rhino. It is also a conservation area inhabited by the Masai tribe. Picnic lunch will be served at one of the designated picnic sites on the crater floor

As the sun sets on the western side of the crater rim, ascend and drive to Maramboi Tented Camp or similar to arrive in time to refresh for dinner

Maramboi Lodge

Situated on a palm tree populated plain close to Lake Manyara with magnificent views of the Rift Valley in the background.

Day 8: Tarangire National Park

After Breakfast depart with packed Lunches for a Full day game drive in Tarangire National Park, all meals and overnight at Maramboi Tented Camp or similar

Day 9: Depart 

Morning walk at Lake Manyara (Mto wa Mbu) and Local lunch then drive to Kilimanjaro airport for your departure flight.
