DAY 1 NAIROBI

Our representatives will warmly meet you on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport; transfer you to your city hotel where they will brief you on your safari arrangements. Enjoy overnight at the hotel where you are booked on bed and breakfast. Nairobi Serena Hotel BB or similar

DAY 2 NAIROBI – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

 

Enjoy breakfast then our guide driver will warmly meet you then drive you to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy – a 90,000-acre private wildlife conservancy – is situated on the equator, in Kenya’s Laikipia District, between the foot hills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snow-capped Mount Kenya. You will be arriving for lunch then an afternoon game viewing drive.

The Ol Pejeta Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals, including the Big Five (the endangered black and white rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion), Grevy’s zebra, Jackson’s hartebeest, cheetah and chimpanzee which is one of the highlight experiences here. Sweetwaters Serena Camp

It is location in a private conservancy with a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any of Kenya’s national parks making Sweetwaters Serena Camp one of the best tented safari camps in Kenya.

A sheltered oasis, clustered around a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sweetwaters Serena Camp offers a charming blend of under-canvas ambiance and Kenyan safari luxury.

Located on the plains of Mount Kenya, the camp features thirty-nine luxury tents, each with its own private veranda overlooking the water hole. The central Rhino Restaurant is housed in the former manager’s house of this once colonial farm, and offers both regional and international cuisine. Also, within the house is the Kashoggi Bar and lounge, which centres on a blazing log fire. The Waterhole Bar, built in the style of a game-viewing hide, overlooks the waterhole and offers unrivalled wildlife-watching.

DAY 3 OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY – SOYSAMBU WILDLIFE CONSERVANCY

Enjoy breakfast then drive to the Lake Elementaita Serena Lodge arriving for lunch in Soysambu Wildlife Conservancy. Spend the afternoon at leisure at this magnificent property. Lake Elementeita Serena Camp

Uniquely situated on the shoreline of sapphire-blue Lake Elementaita where hundreds of thousands of birds congregate, the small and exclusive Lake Elementaita Serena Camp in Kenya opened in July 2011. This area of breathtaking beauty, also home to many rare species of animals, is less than two hours’ drive from Nairobi and just a short distance to the famous Flamingo filled Lake Nakuru.  Evocatively styled to echo the area’s rich history, the safari camp has a total of 25 tents, blends its aristocratic elegance with modern luxury and offers cuisine and service of fittingly high standards.

It is located within the 48,000-acre Soysambu Wildlife Conservancy, also a RAMSAR site – a wetland of international importance.  The alkaline lake’s rocky islands are the only East African nesting site for great white pelicans, while its algae and plankton provides food for vast flocks of flamingos and a multitude of other waterfowl, many of them rare.  The Conservancy protects over 450 bird species and 15,000 wild animals.

DAY 4 SOYSAMBU WILDLIFE CONSERVANCY – MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Enjoy an early breakfast and depart with packed lunches to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Packed Lunches will be served at one of the designated areas, later you will continue with game viewing drive in search of the hundreds of wildlife species the game reserve is famous for. These include the lion, Cape buffalo, the savannah elephant, black rhino and the elusive leopard, impalas, Masai giraffes, waterbucks, warthogs, Thompson & grant’s gazelles, topis, the resident wildebeests among many others. You will later arrive at the Mara Serena Lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight Mara Serena Safari Lodge LDBB or similar

DAY 5 MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Enjoy breakfast then a full day of game viewing drive in search of the Big-Five among many other wildlife species. In addition to wildlife, the Mara has nice, varied scenery to enjoy. OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Balloon Safari over the Mara plains or visit a traditional Masai Village (at an extra cost). The vast plains and grasslands is also home to hundreds of bird species. Enjoy meals and overnight. Mara Serena Safari Lodge LDBB or similar

Located at the very centre of the famous ‘Mara Triangle’ of the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, the Mara Serena Safari Lodge is the ultimate safari destination. DAY 6 MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE – NAIROBI

Enjoy breakfast then check-out. You may opt to drive or take a one-hour flight (at an extra cost) to Nairobi. Enjoy a farewell lunch then our guide driver will drop you at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
